C# (pronounced "C sharp") is a new language designed by Microsoft to combine the power of C/C++ and the productivity of Visual Basic. It combines some of the best features of modern programming languages such as Java, C++ or Visual Basic. C# is an object-oriented language with single inheritance but multiple interfaces per class.
